GETAC V100 review

Intro
GETAC is a rugged PC and it looks like for a very hard environment. It also ha a rotate-able feature which makes it special, and make it work as both tablet and also a laptop

Design

The getac is 12.2x8.7 inch in foot print and 2 inch thick and weighs over 6 pounds. The ports are covered by doors which are waterproof, the hard disc is shock proof. And also the screen is impact proof.

 Display

The screen size when measured diagonally it is 10.4 inchs. This is touch screen with resolution of 1024x768 and has a max brightness of 1200nits. Touch screen can also be worked with gloves in the hand.

Performance
This is powered by intel core 2 duo merom processor.
PCMark score for performance is 79.359 seconds. And overall performance of 2242. and 3DMark 06 score of 107

Battery life is low only 4 hours because of the brightness. And in maximum usage condition it came down to 2 hours.


Finally what I say is that any one who is interested in taking this laptop they must see the rigidness not the performance..
